Afterschool Programs
Bridge is a free after-school art club for creative 6th graders to connect to themselves, each other, and the community through quality creative experiences.
Over weekly sessions, club members become a tight-knit group of supportive artists, learning to be themselves and find their unique voices in a judgment-free zone.
Some things our Bridge students get up to throughout the year:
- learning and exploring art materials and techniques
- learning leadership skills and developing character through service opportunities
- becoming a real part of the local art scene through gallery visits and public events
Creativity Club Grades 4 & 5 (formerly Bridge Jr.)
Creativity Club is an afterschool creativity club geared for elementary school-aged students (grades 4 & 5 this session). Young artists get a chance to play, socialize, and enjoy different art projects every week. Location, age group, and days vary.

Being a “good artist” is NOT criteria for being in Bridge. Any sixth grader who likes making stuff and being creative will love it.

Once a week, the Bridge Studio at Waterfall Arts welcomes artists aged 8-18 to explore materials and techniques on their own. Our educator assists artists one-on-one, encouraging creative experimentation and introducing new skills. Students may choose to put on headphones and disappear into their sketchbooks or sit with friends and socialize while working together. This program is pay-what-you-can, if you can, with a donation jar beside the sign in sheet. First time attendees must pre-register online or have a parent at drop-off to fill out a contact form.
