Take a Glassblowing Class
Welcome to the transformative world of glassblowing.
At Waterfall Arts Glassworks, you will be safely guided through the thrill of working with molten glass, as instructors help you create a unique work of art, from start to finish.
Upcoming Glassblowing Classes:
Beginning Glassblowing 1 – Winter 2024/25
This 8-week, fun-filled glassblowing class will introduce you to working with molten glass. Learn to make basic forms including paperweights, cups, vases, and bowls. Explore color techniques to enrich each of your creations. Students may take this class more than once to continue to develop their skills.
Prerequisite: No experience necessary.

Beginning Glassblowing 2 – Next Steps – Winter 2024/25
Building upon techniques learned in Glassblowing 1, participants in this 8-week course will focus on refining fundamental skills including the basic bubble setup and punties. Projects will expand on basic vessel forms such as cups, vases, bowls, plates by refining form, adding lip wraps, and feet. Students may take this class more than once to continue to develop their skills.
Prerequisite: Beginning 1 or equivalent experience

Intermediate Glassblowing – Winter 2024/25
Theme: Cane Techniques for Color Exploration. Learn to pull filigree, veiled, and ribbon canes. Add complex colored cane patterns to your unique creations.
Prerequisite: Beginning 2 or equivalent experience
