HiLo Art Ghost Ship Series: Episode 3 – Barbara Sullivan
In our third episode of the Ghost Ship series, we get a glimpse into the studio of Maine artist Barbara Sullivan. The show in question would have been a 40-year retrospective, exhibited at UMaine Farmington, where Sullivan is an art teacher. Al and Barb chum it up like the old friends they are, discussing the age-old medium of frescoes, take a peek into her studio, and learn about her installations and scenarios over the course of her career.
Al Crichton, artist and writer, is taking the HiLo Art Column digital. We’re going to visit artists in their studios and talk about what they do – and why. We will begin with artists whose shows had to be canceled or quarantined because of the freakin’ virus – join us!
The HiLo Art “Ghost Ship Series” is a production of Waterfall Arts
