From the Archives: Gov. Anderson School Back in the Day
As many of you may have seen over the past month, Waterfall Arts is undergoing site work. Maybe you’ve felt the local earthquake and rumbling from the construction in the parking lot, driven up through our new curb cut on High Street, or taken your little child to watch the excavation and steamrolling as afternoon entertainment.
While researching for this project–and future renovations related to Waterfall Rising–we were given these old photos (courtesy of the Belfast Historical Society and Museum, who are partnering with us in our upcoming summer exhibition) of the Governor Anderson School in its heyday.
Take a look around, and share your memories with us below. We can’t wait to welcome you back to our improved–and safer–location!
