The Belfast Art Market at Waterfall Arts is a fantastic place for locals and tourists alike. Whether you’re visiting the area and looking for a special handmade Maine souvenir or you’re a local looking for the perfect gift, the Belfast Art Market has something for you. Go on, take an original painting home with your organic rainbow carrots!

We’re inviting artists to apply to participate in the Belfast Art Market 2023. The lawn will be available starting on Friday, June 9, to host tables and tents once more! Applications are juried this year and we are looking for artists whose work is both local (Maine) and handmade. If you have interest in selling through the art market, please fill out the application here.
The Details
Registration fee: $75 for the whole season (17 Fridays) or $50 for 8 Fridays.
The Market runs on Fridays from June 9 through September 29.
You can apply for a “cooperative” booth — one artist sells for two or more, and you take turns staffing. We’ll market your business via social media if you provide links and photos.
Vendors will occupy the East lawn (between the building and High Street)
The spaces are roughly 10X10 with a few feet in between. Only the “front” of the space should be accessible to the public (i.e., no approach from the sides/back of the space) if your spot adjoins any others.
You’ll provide the equipment (tables, tents, etc.).
We ask that you be completely set up and ready to go by 9:00 AM.
There’s a “rain or shine” policy, and we would appreciate news of cancellations by Thursday at noon, to help with planning. Space assignments go out via an email by late Thursday.
The market is from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and we ask that you please stay until the end of that time period.
