Watercolor with the Flow
July 22 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm EDT$64 – $86
Taught by Marcie Jan Bronstein
A four hour workshop designed to celebrate both watercolor and summer. This is a fun, exploratory class for for people working on all levels. Honoring the way watercolor paint moves and flows, we’ll use clear, focused techniques and playful, experimental approaches to make a variety of paintings. In the morning, we’ll use exercises and prompts to work on loose paintings, both solo and collaboratively. In the afternoon, we’ll use the skills and open energy we’ve cultivated to make our own summery works.
12-1 will be a break for lunch.
Most materials will be provided. We ask that students bring:
- a watercolor sketch book (such as: https://www.dickblick.com/products/bee-creative-watercolor-book/)
- any favorite brushes
