TAB Studio: Sequential Art Class for Kids (FULL)
October 17, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
An event every week that begins at 10:00 AM on Thursday, repeating until October 31, 2019
Teaching Artistic Behaviors is another name for choice-based art education. The format involves a mixture of small group and one-on-one skills instruction with student-initiated and paced exploration. TAB programming is sequential; media/techniques/concepts are introduced formally then become a part of the open offerings the next week. By the end of each 7-week session, students have a full “toolbox” for creating independently. Art learning that is student-led requires the flexibility, space, and resources our fully equipped studio offers and is ideal for Montessori, Reggio, and similar constructivist approaches embraced by the homeschool community.
