Fiber: Beginning Felt Making
October 5@9:00 AM - 12:00 PM$45
There’s so much talk about felt making nowadays. Ever wonder what it’s all about? In this workshop you’ll find out as we create a beautiful landscape entirely out wool! All you need is a little water, wool, soap, and some agitation to make a beautiful piece of art suitable for framing or as a decorative piece for your home. We’ll learn wet felting techniques and then use felting needles to do detailing on our pieces. Please bring scissors, a couple of old towels, and a magazine picture or photo that you might want to work from. This is a “hands on” workshop so come prepared for some great felted fun!
