Come Explore Book Arts (4 sessions)
January 22, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
An event every week that begins at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, repeating until February 12, 2020
Join Abbie Read for four relaxed, fun-filled, three-hour sessions making handmade books. We’ll explore decorative paper making, Japanese stab binding, accordion folded books, dos a dos (back to back) books, and other simple techniques. We’ll also do a little experimenting with cover designs to customize the purpose of your book. Open Studio in the Kennedy Press Printmaking studio follows the class so you may choose to stay and keep each other company while you explore some printmaking techniques.
