ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Thom Williams is a photographic artist based out of the Troy, NY area. After picking up a camera in elementary school during the age of film, he continued his creative journey at SUNY Oswego, graduating with a BFA degree in photography. Being a full-time commercial/fine art photographer as well as teaching an extensive list of classes keeps him completely in his element of constant exploration and immersion in the art form he loves so much. Although he has taken the past year off from gallery shows to focus more on instructing at several art centers, he is looking forward to bringing a fresh new look to his offerings in the coming year. He believes that there is nothing better than helping someone find their artistic voice — and frankly many times you learn a lot about yourself in the process.
