For: This session is for 3rd-5th graders with early release Fridays, and homeschoolers of the same age.

About the class:
After lunch, join Bridget in this virtual art studio experience on Zoom! Warm-up games, quizzes, activities, sharing work and even stretches will keep your young artist busy for at least an hour – we will keep the session going up to 3pm if kids are still working.
Materials: A list of basics (markers, pencils, glue stick) will be provided to parents before the start date, so that families can prepare in advance of the first session. (Waterfall Arts can loan families any materials needed from that list).
Additional items for special projects will be provided by Waterfall Arts, and will need to be picked up at Waterfall Arts.
About the instructor:
Bridget Matros is the Kids & Families Program Coordinator at Waterfall Arts. Matros came to Waterfall Arts with over 15 years of teaching art at every level and setting — from preschool circle-time to computer literacy classes for the elderly. A practicing artist herself, Matros developed and grew the Art Studio exhibit and program at the Boston Children’s Museum, is a published advocate for quality creative development in early childhood education, and has been deemed one of 21 “young leaders in arts education” by Harvard scholars.
