Bridge JR at CASS

December 13, 12:00 PM - 3:15 PM
|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 12:00 PM on Friday, repeating until December 20, 2019

Captain Albert Stevens Elementary School (CASS), 31 Elementary Ave
Belfast, ME 04915 United States
$70
Kids making art together

Join Waterfall Arts at the Captain Albert Stevens Elementary School (CASS) on Friday afternoons for early release! Bridge JR is a creativity club with a different project every week, plus time for free-draw and independent work. Led by art educator Bridget Matros, who believes that all students benefit from strengthening problem solving, critical thinking, flexibility, envisioning, collaboration, and observational skills. Artmaking is a fun way to do all that! This will be a judgement-free zone - no worries about being "talented."  Kids can choose to show their work to others, but otherwise we practice not giving feedback unless an artist asks for it. Maximum 16 students. All participants must be enrolled at CASS. This session grades 3 - 5.
