Belfast Waterfront: Talk with the curators!

August 26, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT

A free, lively lunchtime panel discussion with the curators of the current exhibition, “Photographing Belfast’s Waterfront: Then & Now.” Join us in the Clifford Gallery at Waterfall Arts to learn more about the maritime history of Belfast’s evolving waterfront over the last 125 years. After the discussion, there will be an opportunity to ask further questions and share your own stories with the group.

Free, no RSVP required

ABOUT THE PANEL:

Liv Kristin Robinson – Chief curator and fine-art photographer, has been documenting Belfast’s evolving waterfront since 1988, after a chance meeting with renowned photographer Berenice Abbott, who admonished to focus her camera on “what was important:” Belfast’s changing industrial/commercial waterfront.

Kevin Johnson – Photographer and Penobscot Marine Museum Archivist

Megan Pinette – President of the Belfast Historical Society and Museum and Curator of the Belfast Museum
