Take home copies of your “blueprints” and check out real architectural drawings for Waterfall Arts’ upcoming renovations.
For littles, we will have plenty of crayons, markers, and paper on hand!
Art Together Mornings are led by Bridget Matros, Waterfall Art’s Youth & Family Outreach Manager. Matros came to Waterfall Arts with over 15 years of teaching art at every level and setting — from preschool circle-time to computer literacy classes for the elderly. A practicing artist herself, Matros developed and grew the Art Studio exhibit and program at the Boston Children’s Museum, is a published advocate for quality creative development in early childhood education, and has been deemed one of 21 “young leaders in arts education” by Harvard scholars.
Art Together Mornings, part of the Youth & Family Outreach Program at Waterfall Arts, are made possible by local business sponsors Bangor Savings Bank, The Green Store, Little River Veterinary Hospital, Sundog Solar, and CG Bikes. Additional support is provided by foundations such as the Onion Foundation and the Maine Arts Commission, as well as individual donors.
