Unveiling the Inner Landscape: “You Are Never Alone” Explores Memories, Dreams, Nature, and the Unspoken

Waterfall Arts’ Spring Exhibition features works by Sally Stanton, Libby Sipe, and Emily Sabino

Belfast — March 13, 2024 — Waterfall Arts is pleased to present “You Are Never Alone: Paintings by Sally Stanton, Libby Sipe and Emily Sabino,” opening on April 27th, 2024 and running through June 7th, 2024. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, April 27th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Waterfall Arts in Belfast.

This exhibition explores the power of connection and the universal human experience, reminding us that we are never truly alone, even in the face of difficulty. Through their distinct artistic approaches, each artist delves into themes of healing, self-discovery, and the solace found in the natural world.

Sally Stanton’s vibrant and expressive paintings draw upon memories, dreams, and the unquiet world, blurring the lines between reality and the subconscious. Her work encourages introspection, inviting viewers to contemplate the complexities of the human condition.

Libby Sipe’s powerful and evocative paintings offer a visual journey through personal experiences, utilizing mixed media to explore resilience and the transformative power of artistic expression. Her work challenges viewers to confront difficult narratives with compassion and understanding.

Emily Sabino’s ethereal and captivating paintings celebrate the interconnectedness of all living things. Inspired by the natural world, her work invites viewers to reconnect with their own inner landscape and find solace in the beauty and wisdom of the Earth.

About the Artists:

  • Sally Stanton holds a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and an MFA from the Solstice Program at Pine Manor College. Her work has been exhibited extensively throughout New England.
  • Libby Sipe is a process-driven artist whose work has been featured in exhibitions across the United States and the United Kingdom.
  • Emily Sabino is an abstract representational painter living in Midcoast Maine. Her work has been exhibited across the state and is included in the Maine Arts Journal.
