SARAH VOSMUS: HOVER
July 27 – September 14
in the Corridor Gallery
Opening Reception: Friday, July 27 from 5:30-8:00PM
Accumulating architectural ghosts live as curtains, re-grown and shed a thousand times. They die sheltered acquaintances in vivid rooms of the eye. These prints depict intimate spaces of home through atmospheric distance. Where the thin barrier of memory, permeates eddies of spacial attachment. Working with a diverse, yet limited set of printing matrixes (in relief, silkscreen, monotype and intaglio), enables a process of familiarity and discovery. Where shifts between surface and space describe a fluid, dreamlike quality of an internalized perspective.
