Wonders of Clay Summer 2019

Learn all about clay, wheel-throwing techniques, hand building, and the process of glazing and firing. Make pots, figures, sculptures and bowls. Exceptional instructor Linda Stec provides guidance and support. New and returning students are welcome. Come and have fun!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Linda Stec has been teaching clay at Waterfall Arts for over a decade. She has a degree in Fine Arts and has taken many masters level classes. Along with clay, Linda has been a performing puppeteer for 18 years and practices calligraphy, cartooning, and weaving. She is a master gardener and the Director of the Starrett Childrens’ Center.

NOTE: You will receive confirmation when you have successfully submitted the registration form. Your registration is not complete until payment has been received. Please try to register no later than one week prior to the first meeting of the class. All classes have minimum and maximum enrollment thresholds, so early registration will improve the chances of a class running and of your slot in it! Minimum enrollment for this class must be met by May 31 in order for it to run.

  • By submitting this form, you agree to authorize Waterfall Arts faculty or staff to provide routine first-aid treatment (band-aids, ice, etc), to seek emergency treatment if needed, and to arrange any necessary emergency transportation or hospitalization for the student. In the event that you cannot be reached during a medical emergency, you authorize Waterfall Arts to notify the emergency contact person and/or the physician's office listed above. For this reason, it is important that you provide us with accurate contact information. *Hold Harmless agreement: The student or parent/guardian of a minor student understands that Waterfall Arts faculty and staff do their best to create a safe environment in which to participate in activities and further agrees that they will not hold Waterfall Arts responsible for injuries or accidents.




    I give Waterfall Arts permission to use any photographs and/or videos taken of me/my child for use in publications on our website, social media sites, brochures, posters, newspapers or other printed media.
