Pottery Paint Night (Cancelled)

Mugs, tiles and boxes and more are ready for you to add your personal touch. You decorate them, we’ll fire them, and you pick them up in a few days. Join Linda Stec & Bridget Matros for this evening version of the paint your own pottery workshop, it’s a great way to have fun with friends or spend time with a date! Cover price includes one mug or tile; a small selection of other pieces will be available for additional purchase as well. Not confident with a brush? – no worries! Use our stamps and easy to use squeeze bottles.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS: Linda Stec has been teaching clay at Waterfall Arts for over a decade. She has a degree in Fine Arts and has taken many masters level classes. Along with clay, Linda has been a performing puppeteer for 18 years and practices calligraphy, cartooning, and weaving. She is a master gardener and the Director of the Starrett Childrens’ Center. Bridget Matros is the Youth & Family Outreach Coordinator at Waterfall Arts. Matros came to Waterfall Arts with over 15 years of teaching art at every level and setting — from preschool circle-time to computer literacy classes for the elderly. A practicing artist herself, Matros developed and grew the Art Studio exhibit and program at the Boston Children’s Museum, is a published advocate for quality creative development in early childhood education, and has been deemed one of 21 “young leaders in arts education” by Harvard scholars.

Please try to register no later than one week prior to the first meeting of the class. All classes have minimum and maximum enrollment thresholds, so early registration will improve the chances of a class running and of your slot in it! Minimum enrollment for this event must be met by July 6 in order for it to run.
