Bridge Jr After School Program
October 2@3:30 pm - November 13@5:30 pm
Bridge Jr. offers after school art activities that are open-ended and allow young artists to find their own creative voice. Sessions start with “shares”, where artists show what they’re working on and get feedback and encouragement. The teaching artist shows tips and tricks to get the group started with materials of interest, but there’s also “free create” – time to do what you want! This program can be paid for on a sliding scale for those with financial need. Scholarships are also available.

Bridge JR is part of the Youth & Family Outreach (YFO) Program at Waterfall Arts. The program provides safe spaces for young artists to connect with themselves, each other, and the community through quality creative experiences. The Youth & Family Outreach Program is made possible by local business sponsors Little River Veterinary Hospital, The Green Store, and VeloInk. Additional support is provided by foundations such as the Davis Family Foundation, the Onion Foundation, and the Maine Arts Commission, as well as individual donors. Snacks are provided by the Belfast Co-op.
